ICT (Information Communication Technology)

The aim of the ICT (Information Communications Technology) program at Spring Gully is to provide children from Grade Prep to Grade 6 with access to a range of technologies they can use to research, create and communicate with.

Our Grade 5 & 6 students have access 24/7 to netbook computers. Grade 3 & 4 students have one to one access to netbooks at school. This program is partially funded by parents, with the majority of funds coming from the school.

The school is fully equipped with interactive whiteboards and technology relevant to our teaching needs. Staff and students have access to a class set of iPads and green screen technology.

Access for information and communication is available for our school community through the school website, the school app and a selection of class blogs. To access the school app, download the Spring Gully Skoolbag App from the Play Store or iTunes.

Spring Gully is an eSmart school. An eSmart school is a school where the smart, safe and responsible use of information and communications technology is a cultural norm. Students, teachers and the wider community are equipped to embrace the best these technologies can offer, while being savvy about the pitfalls.

Students and parents are required to sign the ICT User Agreement Grade P-4  (2016) and ICT User Agreement Grade 5-6 (2016) before accessing the computers.
