The aim of the ICT program at Spring Gully is to provide children from Grade Prep to Grade 6 with access to a range of technologies they can use to research, create and communicate with.
Our Grade 3, 4, 5 & 6 students have access 24/7 to netbook computers. This program is partially funded by parents, with the majority of funds coming from the school.
The school is fully equipped with interactive whiteboards and technology relevant to our teaching needs. Staff and students have access to a class set of iPads and green screen technology.
Access to information and communication is available for our school community through the school website, Compass Parent Portal and a selection of class blogs.
Spring Gully is an eSmart school. An eSmart school is a school where the smart, safe and responsible use of information and communications technology is a cultural norm. Students, teachers and the wider community are equipped to embrace the best these technologies can offer while being savvy about the pitfalls.
Students and parents are required to sign the ICT User Agreement Grade P-4 and ICT User Agreement Grade 5-6 before accessing the computers.
